Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.

ABOUT THE CLASS

This is a Women's Class

This year our class will be offering:

Morning - In Person Class

Morning - Online Class (adults only)

All classes will be studying:

Joshua (6 weeks)

Genesis ch. 1 - 22 (24 weeks)

Spanish books available - please let the Coordinator (Laura Kaufman) know if you have this need

Currently Studying: Joshua, Genesis

Joshua - After leading the Israelites out of Egypt & through 40 years of wandering through the wilderness, Moses died. But God remained faithful to His promise. He appointed Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land, where they would at last find rest in a place of their own.

Genesis - Although Genesis is an ancient book, it speaks to some of the biggest questions we have today: Is there a God? If so, what is He like? Why is there evil in the world? Why are we here? Where can we find purpose and hope? In this course, which covers the first 22 chapters of Genesis, participants will see that God created a beautiful world & gave people a noble calling in His creation. It explains how our world was fractured by human rebellion & presents the beginnings of God's plans to put everything back together.

Programs for Preschool through High School.

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, games and other activities, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children and teens can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children and Youth Ministry.

Ethnos

If you would like to study the Bible in your heart language, then a specialized CBS discussion group/core group offered in our class -Ethnos-might be just perfect for you! Our cities, neighborhoods, and communities are multicultural, and it’s our desire to bring the life-transforming benefits of an in-depth Bible study to people whose first language is not English.
